Jesus Christ is Crucified: Day 6 of Holy Week reading plan

As we read Luke 23, let’s try to understand what Jesus went through. Let’s try to understand what Jesus went through just for us.

Jesus was sent to live among men. HE was the PERFECT teacher, the PERFECT example, and ultimately the PERFECT sacrifice for ALL sins.

When He died on the cross for us, Jesus suffered the most horrific death; a death that was plotted by man. But He still had compassion for those putting Him to death and He prayed for their forgiveness. Jesus traded his righteousness for our sin. Remember He is sinless. But he came and lived on earth, to teach us how to live, then he died through sufferings that should be ours, the sinners.

But, Sunday is coming!

Jesus took our place on that cross. Jesus’ death on the cross cleared the way for us to be saved and have eternal life; IF we will believe in HIM , repent our sins to HIM and accept HIM as our LORD & Savior!

The greatest gift of love…. ever.

Have you accepted God’s PERFECT gift: JESUS?

“But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” – John 1:12-14 (ESV)
