Blessings in the Detours

The last few months have been ‘normal’ busy with some unexpected twists mixed in, ultimately requiring me to yield to several wait and see moments.

And if you know me, waiting is not something I always do well. However, good things came from waiting. Through the unexpected, multiple blessings expounded, lessons were learned, and wisdom gained, rendering the sweet and gentle reminder that Jesus never leaves me to wait alone. Instead, He draws me closer to Him, showering me with His enduring love. You see, God answered my prayers, and He answered some of my ‘whys’. And, He will again. But only in His timing and on His terms.

Just because we run into roadblocks in life, it does not mean we will not reach our destination. Sometimes the detours are blessed diversions as the destination is being prepared with extra amenities especially designed for us by God. While the last few months have been bumpy and uncomfortable at times, the sights and the destination have been worth it.

How about you?
Is life throwing you curve balls?
Is your road rocky and broken?

Remember, you do not have to travel life alone. Invite Jesus in, and get ready for the best ride of your life!

Life IS better with Jesus!

“I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me and heard my cry.”
– Psalm 40:1
